Our first purpose is the growth of the team members and involvement of our Canadian churches in overseas missions. Secondly, we hope to encourage and build into our Haitian churches.
We are not going as a development agency, nor do we want to set up our "own thing" over there. One of the dangers we wish to avoid is creating projects which make us feel helpful and important, but do not meet a real need or fall into the mandate of the local church. We are determined to allow the local church to lead us.
